Working with immigrant communities means showing up with empathy, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of the impact trauma can have on individuals and families. Trauma-informed training helps professionals do just that by creating spaces rooted in safety, trust, and empowerment.


Through engaging, practical sessions, I help staff and leadership teams build skills in:

  • Compassionate, effective communication

  • Cultural humility and sensitivity

  • Tools for advocacy, healing, and long-term support


I specialize in providing trauma-informed training and consulting to non-profits and community organizations that support immigrants communities. My approach is collaborative, grounded, and tailored to the unique needs of each group I work with.

La capacitación sobre trauma ayuda a los profesionales a lograr precisamente eso, creando espacios basados ​​en la seguridad, la confianza y el empoderamiento.

I’m available for a variety of community and professional spaces, including keynotes, conferences, panel discussions, workshops, healing circles, virtual events, and podcasts. I show up to each space with a trauma-informed, culturally grounded, anti-racist, and anti-oppressive approach, always centering the voices and experiences of our communities.
 

Processing Groups

 

Facilitation of reflective, supportive spaces for professionals to process the emotional toll of immigration work. These group sessions center connection, shared experience, and strategies for sustainability and well-being.

Clinical Supervision for LMSWs in Texas

 

If your organization is looking to support staff in becoming LCSWs, I offer board-approved clinical supervision grounded in trauma-informed, culturally affirming, and social justice–oriented practice.
